CareerForge AI (“CareerForge”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) is an AI-powered career platform operated by Cyberdeux AI. CareerForge helps people build ATS-optimized resumes, generate cover letters, optimize their LinkedIn profiles, prepare for interviews, analyze job descriptions, and receive AI-assisted career guidance across our web, iOS, and Android applications.

This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and protect it, and the rights and choices you have. It applies to all CareerForge AI products and services.

Protecting your privacy is fundamental to how we build CareerForge. We collect only the information needed to deliver the service, we are transparent about how it is used, and we never sell your personal information.

Payment information

Payments are processed by our payment providers — Stripe, the Apple App Store, Google Play, and RevenueCat. CareerForge AI does not collect or store your full payment card details. We receive limited transaction data (such as plan, status, and amount) needed to manage your subscription.

We use the information we collect to operate, maintain, and improve CareerForge AI, including to:

4.AI Processing

We use artificial intelligence to deliver many of our features. To do this, the content you choose to submit — such as your resume text, job descriptions, career details, and interview responses — is sent to and processed by trusted third-party AI providers, specifically OpenAI and Anthropic.

Your consent

Before any of your content is sent to these AI providers, we ask for your explicit consent inside the app and disclose what will be shared and with whom. You can withdraw this consent at any time from Settings; withdrawing it disables AI features.

How your content is handled

• Your content is sent to OpenAI and Anthropic only to generate the specific result you request (for example, an optimized resume or a cover letter).
• These providers are bound by contractual and security obligations that provide protection equivalent to this policy, and are contractually restricted from using your content to train their models.
• We do not sell your content, and we do not use it to build advertising profiles.
• AI-generated outputs may not always be accurate, complete, or up to date — you are responsible for reviewing and editing them before relying on them.

5.Data Storage and Security

We apply industry-standard security practices designed to protect your information, including:

• Encryption of data in transit using TLS/HTTPS
• Access controls that limit who can access personal data
• Secure, reputable cloud infrastructure
• Ongoing monitoring and security maintenance

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. We work continuously to protect your information and to promptly address any issues that arise.

We rely on trusted third-party providers to deliver CareerForge AI. Depending on the features you use, these may include:

CareerForge AI is intended for users aged 16 years and older and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. 11.International Users

CareerForge AI is offered globally, and your information may be processed in countries other than your own, including by our third-party providers. We take steps to ensure your information is treated consistently with this Privacy Policy and applicable law.

If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or another region with data protection laws such as the GDPR, we process your personal data on lawful bases including the performance of our contract with you, your consent, and our legitimate interests in operating and improving the service.
